Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few
Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few,” is a weekly video podcast that informs and empowers freedom-loving Americans to take their children’s education out of the hands of government bureaucrats and social engineers. Sheri Few is the Founder and President of USPIE, whose mission is to end the U.S. Department of Education and all federal education mandates. USPIE has established 20 state chapters and is growing rapidly amid the national outcry from parents who want to regain control of their children’s education. United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) is a nonprofit, nationwide coalition that is fighting to return education to its proper local roots and restore parental authority over their children’s education by helping parents and local communities to escape federal and other national influences. It is the vision of USPIE to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children, where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates. USPIE has reached hundreds of millions through radio, television, print and digital platforms, exposing the truth and inspiring parents to act. The organization has helped parents create Education Sanctuary Zones — safe havens where real education thrives, free from federally-mandated wokeness, CRT, transgenderism and other such evils. USPIE’s podcast, “Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few,” aims to educate parents on the various forms of indoctrination occurring in schools across the country.

I’m thrilled to have a very special guest with us—Ray Moore, founder of the Exodus Mandate Project. Ray has dedicated decades to equipping Christian families with the tools and vision to reclaim their children’s education. On today’s episode, we’re diving into some critical topics that every Christian parent and leader needs to hear. We’ll start by addressing the crisis in government schools and why this system is no longer an acceptable option for families who want to preserve their faith and values. We’ll also take a closer look at the vision behind the Exodus Mandate Project and why Ray believes Bible-based Christian education isn’t just an alternative—it’s the only acceptable choice for the Christian community. We will discuss the key pillars of this movement and why it’s more relevant than ever in today’s culture. And for those of you wondering what this all means in practical terms, don’t worry—we’ll discuss actionable steps for families, churches, and communities to transition toward homeschooling and Christian schools. Whether it’s mobilizing resources or building support networks, we’ll talk about how to create a national movement that puts faith back at the center of education. We’ll also explore powerful lessons from the Book of Exodus, drawing parallels between the Israelites’ journey out of Egypt and the call for Christian families today to take back control of their children’s education. It’s a packed episode, and I promise you’ll walk away with both inspiration and practical ideas for making a difference. Ray Moore is a retired Army Chaplain and Lt. Colonel with over 40 years of ministry experience as a campus pastor, congregational minister, and Christian leader. A South Carolina native and graduate of The Citadel, Ray also holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Grace Theological Seminary. Ray is co-founder of The Exodus Mandate Project, which advocates for Christian education and homeschooling. He is the author of Let My Children Go and The Promise of Jonadab, co-written with his wife, Gail. Ray is also an Executive Producer of award-winning documentaries, including IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America, and Escaping Common Core. A Bronze Star recipient for his service in the Gulf War, Ray and his wife were named South Carolina Parents of the Year in 2000. They are proud parents of four children and grandparents to seven. Ray brings a wealth of wisdom and passion to today’s discussion on reclaiming education for Christian families.

My guest Melanie Kurdys and I discuss School Choice options like charter schools, vouchers, Title 1 portability, and education savings accounts proposed nationwide to shift from government-controlled education. Despite these options, government regulation persists, limiting genuine choice. We also explore a 1980 court case where Hillsdale College was subject to government regulation for accepting students receiving government funds, affirmed by the US Supreme Court. Melanie Kurdys is an accomplished business person, an educator and researcher, an education activist and a mother of three adult children and 8 grandchildren. Her mathematics degree from the University of Michigan enabled her to work for IBM, AT&T and Authur Young, among others. Melanie was also an active school volunteer and in-school math tutor in Louisiana, California, Georgia and Michigan. She was elected to her local school board and ran for Michigan State Board of Education in 2012. As co-founder of Stop Common Core in Michigan, Melanie continues to be a volunteer education advocate for parents, teachers and importantly, kids.
